Kingdom of Snow is a 4-player strategy game played on a 10×10 board. Each lord controls three kings — the last king standing wins the match.
The board is shared. Tiles burn, flood, freeze, and shift. Every match is shaped by a randomly drawn element.
Each match is divided into rounds. At the start of every round, a dice roll determines movement speed — the multiplier that governs how fast pieces travel across the board.
Six piece types can be bought and dropped during placement. The king is placed during the draft only.
Straight diagonal. Pick left or right at drop. Travels in that diagonal forever.
Claims every tile it crosses. Dies on contact with any occupied tile.
Forward then diagonal, alternating each tick. A/D picks which side the diagonal bends toward.
Reaches tile (10,10)? Upgrades to a free Queen in your inventory.
1 tile straight forward then 2 tiles sideways. Pick which side it slides toward.
Does not claim territory. Combat piece — kills on contact.
Diagonal ray. Pick left or right inward diagonal at drop.
Does NOT claim territory, unlike the checker.
1 tile per tick, straight.
Most reliable straight attacker. Never deviates.
2 tiles per tick. Pick any of 8 directions at drop. Diagonal or straight.
Most flexible piece. Choose direction based on board position.
Before the simulation starts, all 4 players place their kings on the king ring in a fixed repeating order.
After all kings are placed, simulation begins.
Every match has one element, chosen randomly before the king draft. The element reshapes the board or the rules for the entire game.
Permanently neutral tiles that cannot be owned: the Queen Square, all elemental tiles, spawn tiles, and king ring tiles not occupied by a king.
Characters from the Bazaar and let you place a powerup square on the battlefield after the king draft.
